These are simply the best scissor we've found for the money. (By the way, the Queen is a scissor junkie, so she would know!) They come with a cover  which is certainly a great safety feature; convenient size for your basic kit. This product has also received high endorsement for Royal Subject and fellow scissor junkie, Connie Collins. Cutter Bee recently added a titanium scissor to their line that is fabulous (ask the WebJester).
